Welcome to Wellspring Church of God's web site. Feel free to
browse our page, we invite you to attend our services. They are spirit filled,
and are led by the Holy Ghost. The gifts of the spirit are in operation through
out our congregation and services. We experience the gift of prophecy, tongues
with interpretation, we believe in anointing with oil for healing we also
believe in casting devils out.
Our services are not structured in such a manner that will quench a move of the Holy Spirit, we welcome his presence during service and allow him to have his way and allow him to minister as he sees fit.
Have you accepted Jesus of Nazareth as your Lord and Savior?
This is a question that is basic to Christianity, it is the foundation of our beliefs. It is a question that is very loaded and has eternal consequences wrapped inside it.
It is a question that requires a close examination of yourself and to take inventory of your life, motives, actions and sins. It is a question that is intensely personal. It is one only two people that can truly answer.
Those people are you, and Jesus himself.
Won't you accept Jesus as your Lord today he has been waiting for you, and will do so until your last breath. It is simple to do.
Pray this simple prayer, once you have done this find a bible based church. Attend and begin to learn and grow. Seek out teachers and pastors that teach and preach God's word in truth with a solid foundation.
The end of this age is quickly coming to an end. There is not much time left for those that have not made their decision.
The prayer is simple...
Father, I come to you in the name of your Son Jesus. I have sinned against you, I have sinned against those around me, and I have sinned against myself. For this I apologize, I seek forgiveness through your Son. I ask that you wash me clean from my sins and short comings and mistakes I have made in my life. I ask that you wash me in the blood of the lamb that is your only son. That I may be made white as snow in your sight.I thank you father for doing this. From this point forward I claim your Son Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I will serve him from this day forward.
Thank you father in the name of Jesus.

Where are our roots and where do we get our grounding?
The Church of God, with headquarters in Cleveland, Tennessee, is a Pentecostal Christian
denomination. With over seven million members in over 170 countries, it is one of the
largest Pentecostal denominations in the world. In the United States, it reports 1,076,254
members, making it the nation's 22nd largest Christian church.
The movement's origins can be traced back to 1886 with a small meeting of Christians at the
Barney Creek Meeting House on the Tennessee/North Carolina border, making it the oldest
Pentecostal denomination in the United States.
What we believe:
Declaration of faith
The Declaration of Faith is the Church of God's doctrinal standard. It articulates both an
evangelical and Pentecostal doctrinal position with Wesleyan influences. The following is a
summary of the Declaration of Faith:
*Verbal inspiration of the Bible
*One God existing as a Trinity
*Death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ
*All have sinned and repentance is necessary for forgiveness
*Justification, regeneration, and the new birth are by faith in Christ's blood
*Sanctification subsequent to the new birth
*Holiness as God's standard of living for his people
*Baptism with the Holy Spirit subsequent to "a clean heart"
*Speaking in tongues is the initial evidence of baptism with the Holy Spirit
*Water baptism by immersion
*Divine healing provided for all in Christ's atonement
*The Lord's Supper and foot washing
*The Premillenial Second Coming of Christ
*The resurrection of the righteous to eternal life and the wicked to eternal punishment
