John 7:37 - 38 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

How to receive the Baptism in the Spirit

This is the where the power of the Holy Spirit begins in your life!

What does true forgiveness look like?  How is it measured?

“Father, forgive them”.

And now the woman stands in the courtroom and listens to the confessions offered by Mr van der Broek. A member of South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission turns to her and asks, “So, what do you want? How should justice be done to this man who has so brutally destroyed your family?”

I want three things,” begins the old woman calmly, but confidently. “I want first to be taken to the place where my husband’s body was burned so that I can gather up the dust and give his remains a decent burial.” She pauses, then continues. “My husband and son were my only family. I want, secondly, therefore, for Mr van der Broek to become my son. I would like for him to come twice a month to the ghetto and spend a day with me so that I can pour out on him whatever love I still have remaining within me.”

“And, finally,” she says, “I want a third thing. I would like Mr van der Broek to know that I offer him my forgiveness because Jesus Christ died to forgive. This was also the wish of my husband. And so, I would kindly ask someone to come to my side and lead me across the courtroom so that I can take Mr van der Broek in my arms, embrace him and let him know that he is truly forgiven.”

As the court assistants come to lead the elderly woman across the room, Mr van der Broek, overwhelmed by what he has just heard, faints. And as he does, those in the courtroom, friends, family, neighbours – all victims of decades of oppression and injustice – begin to sing, softly, but assuredly, “Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me.”

Have you accepted Jesus of Nazareth as your Lord and Savior?

This is a question that is basic to Christianity, it is the foundation of our beliefs.  It is a question that is very loaded and has eternal consequences wrapped inside it.

It is a question that requires a close examination of yourself and to take inventory of your life, motives, actions and sins.  It is a question that is intensely personal.  It is one only two people that can truly answer.

Those people are you, and Jesus himself.

Won't you accept Jesus as your Lord today he has been waiting for you, and will do so until your last breath. It is simple to do.

Pray this simple prayer, once you have done this find a bible based church.  Attend and begin to learn and grow.  Seek out teachers and pastors that teach and preach God's word in truth with a solid foundation.

The prayer is simple...

Father, I come to you in the name of your Son Jesus.  I have sinned against you, I have sinned against those around me, and I have sinned against myself.  For this I apologize, I seek forgiveness through your Son.  I ask that you wash me clean from my sins and short comings and mistakes I have made in my life.  I ask that you wash me in the blood of the lamb that is your only son.  That I may be made white as snow in your sight.
I thank you father for doing this.  From this point forward I claim your Son Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I will serve him from this day forward.
Thank you father in the name of Jesus.
